I am a multi-disciplinary designer from India working at the cross-section of design, brand and communication.

Recent History
Over the last 7 years, I have worked with diverse teams of people: educators, writers, designers and visionaries to design interesting stuff – both tangible and intangible.

As the lead designer of Little Light (2018-2021) and Art1st (2018-2021), I have helped shape, grow and sustain their brands. Adapting to new realities while maintaining the steadfast vision of these organisations has been the underlying fulcrum of my work – which I have addressed through strategy, communications and design. Whether it was logos, pitches, brochures, digital products, social media, onboarding, or brand channel set-up- I have enjoyed breathing and living the brands.

What do I believe in?
As an in-house lead, I understood what it’s like to have a vision, and not a task list, to guide you in your everyday work. At the same time, I have realised that a brand (or an idea) is not built through a top-down imperative, but a ground-up congruity. When a team of people embody a brand, they come together to pursue a goal and more than abstract guidelines, a supportive, nurturing, co-creative space is what they need. Alongside my colleagues and higher-ups, I have worked towards creating such spaces for my teams.

Why an interest in learning & education?
I am enthralled by the human capacity to learn and grow – how we unfold ideas in our heads. Like a child, we toy with new information, we test it, we ignore it, we mould it, we accept it and perhaps share it. Learning is an evergreen human instinct. Through my work with educational organisations such as Art1st & Little Light, I have had the opportunity to engage with them through my interactions with educators, pedagogues, artists & writers. I am keen to pursue design for learning in my future projects and collaborations.

A tribe called design
Over the years, I have also had the chance to mentor young designers and interns. For me, it has always been a mutually transformative experience. It involved the sharing of knowledge, ideas, techniques, and motivations. Guiding young designers on their own unique paths of creativity has been the most empowering aspect of my career.

What drives me?
The interdisciplinary nature of Design. It allows me to be curious and pushes me to see the world as is: a connected network of ideas. Yes, the world is messy and complicated, but through design, I get to be on a quest to co-create ideas, push for change and care for the little things.

I am open to freelance and collaborations with people with a vision.
